Graham & Becca Phillips

Revd Graham Phillips is the Senior Minister of Hope City Church. He and his wife, Becca have two girls, Phoebe and Tilly. They helped plant Hope City Church in 2020 out of a desire to serve God in the city of Wolverhampton.  Their heart is to put Jesus back at the centre of church life where He belongs, to be Biblical in preaching and in practice and to love and to care for the vulnerable and the voiceless.  

David & Clare Smyrell

David and Clare Smyrell live in Wolverhampton with their ginger cat Fergus.

They both work to support local governments through project management skills. David grew up in Northern Ireland before moving to England and enjoys cycling, making music, and photography. Clare was born and raised in Kentucky, moved to England by herself in 2010 and has not looked back since. She enjoys doing research on whatever sparks her interest and checking in on her friends. Together, they enjoy spending time in God’s creation which includes visiting as many US National Parks as possible.

 Our vision and hope is that HCC will be a community of people with a passion for the Scriptures and committed to the authentic gospel of Jesus.
